Most who know me are aware I’m just a little bit in love with Tom Petty**.
And this Alice-y video is only another page in the book proving it.
** I mean c’mon – the dude sings your (best version possible of) typical rootsy, American, Blue-Collar, women-loving, rock anthems - the perfect accompaniment for a drive through Kentucky and Tennessee I might add. Yet he’s atypically eccentrically and morbidly imaginitive.

Not seeing the movie but also a big fan of Mr. Petty…can’t help it
Saw the movie with my four year old daughter and we loved it! It was whimsical and fun and definitely a movie to empower young girls. He may get some critics who wanted the story to be fuller, but I think this was one of those movies he made for kids and I think it was perfect. If there was anymore “story” to it, it would bore kids (think Where the Wild Things Are). Just my two cents.
And that Alice video used to scare the crap out of me when I was a kid.
