Learning to Bend

Our dear friend Mickie takes photos that suck the air right out of me.  These are a part of her Learning to Bend series which were displayed at Louisville’s 21c Museum.  It is absolutely extraordinary to me how a still photo can capture such elegant movement.  Hung next to each other,  you’d almost swear they really were moving, subjects gracefully leaping from one frame to the next.   As soon as I have some extra cash, I’m going to buy up as many as possible (i think the bottom one is my favorite).
