5/5

Well, in case you haven’t noticed, it is the 5th of May.  And in Spanish, that translates to Cinco de Mayo!! Very good.

Because this is posted on the very (holi)day, if you don’t already have your party together and ready, you probably are not planning a fiesta grande.  So we’ll keep it simple for all those slacker-boring Americans like myself….  a few easy things you can do this evening in celebration.

First- two things you gotta have:   Margarita & Guacamole

Although I’m a huge fan of traditional guac, in the xtra warm months (and when serving w/ fish tacos), I like adding Mango to make a sort of Avocado-Mango Salsa.

Recipe Here.

I love Margaritas of every sort.  This Jalapeno one has just gotta be sweet, spicy, and a total knockout.  Just like me ;) (kidding).

Now that you’re all spiced & sauced up, here’s a sample order of events.  Customizable to your preference.

1. Put on a sombrero

2. Make a pinata

and beat the heck out of that sucka.

This one looks pretty simple.

3. Steal some maracas from a panda bear

4. Bailamos! Bailamos!
