Let’s face it.  The basic T-shirt–classic and comfortable as it may be– is a flattering fashion for few.  As for women- it’s primarily for the stick skinny, the flat-chested, or at least the small-waisted, small-shouldered.  And Men– this may have never crossed your mind but providing a too-snug little home for your beer gut does not seduce women to consider your wider domestic abilities.

But with so many new cuts and necklines and embellishments, the t-shirt has risen as a crowd favorite once again.  Gals especially have much to be happy about.  Dressy dinner after a long & tiring day in a stiff suit and heels?  Throw on some soft ruffled cotton with a light pair of slacks and you’re all set*.

Some couldn’t care less about how the shirt fits, and desire to make a statement with what they sport.  It could be a band or a cause or a business… I say More Power to Ya.  In fact, I’ll even give you some great options.

First is a t(r)ee supporting Nadus Films – a fantastic film company bringing hope to war-torn southern Sudan.  Book a viewing in your area!!  Then there’s our favorite local coffee-shop Quills Coffee.  Yum!!  Both T-shirts were designed by our dear friend Tyler from Pedale design.  Give him a ring why don’t ya.

And of course, I must mention the most versatile option of all…  Take any basic tee or tank and dress up the neckline with a bib necklace….found EVERYWHERE these days.  Like neon-colored shoelaces and those tennis shoes we had as kids with the inserts (remember those?)…  buy a few and switch ‘em out with your basics…. it’s a whole new wardrobe.
