Creating a New Sudan

To all of our Louisville-area readers, I want to make you aware of an upcoming event that is near and dear to our little monkeysaidbear hearts. The New Sudan, a documentary created by good friends of ours, will be premiering at the Baxter Avenue Theaters on March 20, at 7:30 pm. All ticket sales will go toward purchasing a well in Southern Sudan. I’ve seen an early cut of the movie, and it really opens one’s eyes to what the people of Southern Sudan are struggling with. It also includes some wonderful music by my amazingly talented and devastatingly handsome husband (and some other people, too), and it’s narrated by William Mapother (Ethan from LOST!). Get your tickets, and spread the word!
